The route starts straight along the Spielbergbach to the Spielberghaus. The route then branches off to the west towards Bernkogel. Over the slopes, where skiers usually race down in winter, you reach some managed alpine pastures. At the Reiteralm, it is worth exploring the various themed trails such as herbal, alpine flowers, or barefoot paths. Furthermore, above the alpine pasture in a hundred-year-old forest, there is the forest wellness trail with yoga platforms, forest hammocks, and an outdoor library.
The route also has a lot to offer for children: along the adventure path "Berg Kodok," children have to solve 10 riddles in a magical fantasy world. Attention: Don't forget the adventure pass at the valley station of the Reiterkogel cable car! Afterwards, some altitude still needs to be gained before reaching Spieleckkogel via an increasingly alpine trail. From here, the trail leads straight down to Lengau.
