The hike leads from the Leogang Show Mine in the Schwarzleo Valley past the Scheltaualm to the Spielbergalmen. Hikers can stop at the Lindlalm, known for its hearty specialties such as bread, bacon, sausages, crackling fat, spreads, dumplings, and much more. Enduring hikers can continue their way up to the Spielberghorn.
The route begins at the Leogang Show Mine in the Schwarzleo Valley. The starting point is the parking lot of the Knappenstube "Unterberghaus". From here, head west over the creek up to Adamalm. Once there, turn east towards Scheltaualm. The next stage leads south to the Spielbergalmen. Enduring hikers can continue their way up to the Spielberghorn. Walking time (without Spielberghorn): 3h

From Saalfelden or St. Johann in Tirol via the B 164 to Leogang. West of Leogang, turn off in the Hütten district into the Schwarzleo Valley. From there, follow the signs to the show mine until you reach the parking lot after approximately 3 km.
