HIKING OF SOUTH LARZAC

Take to the right Quai Street, Church Street and Camp-Laurier Street.

At a watering hole, take the path to the right. It climbs through a rocky landscape and leads to Cros. Cross the village towards the castle.

Take the alley that runs alongside the castle on the right. 200 m further, go around the Sotchs cross on the right (listed historic monument).

Continue along the wide track for 1.3 km.

Near a watering hole, ignore a track to the left and continue straight ahead. Climb the side of a small hill and descend towards La Couvertoirade.

Take the road to the left. Facing the South gate of La Couvertoirade, take the path on the left that slips between two low walls. It climbs, bordered by boxwood. Leave the trail starts on the right and left and continue on the well-marked path. Cross the Mas-d’Aussel road (a stone cross marks the entrance to the private property). Continue straight under the shade of the boxwood. On the axis of the Castel rock, engage on the well-marked path between dry stone walls. Ignore the parallel path on the left.

At the foot of the first rock ledges, take the path to the right for 250 m, then the N 9 to the left. At the entrance to Caylar, turn left into Masde-Gervais Street. At the junction with Portal-Blanc Street, turn right onto Tower Street and reach the parking lot.
