The bathing lake in Schlitters is located at the entrance to the Zillertal valley, approx. 5 km before the village of Fügen, directly on the Zillertal cycle path.
Sports facilities for tennis/football: The spacious sports facilities in Schlitters are located directly by the bathing lake. The main and training grounds of SU Schlitters are adjacent to the lake area. The training ground is ideal for all ball games, frisbee etc., as you can let off steam there undisturbed with plenty of space. There is also a tennis court with three clay courts just a few metres away. NCHT club members can also play a game here for a fee!
Non-swimmers' area: Ideal for first attempts at swimming, splashing around and cooling off; a small stream also flows into this area - a real magnet for young bathers.
*Directly next to the bathing lake and the Seecafe is the huge natural adventure playground. The project was deliberately integrated into the neighbouring alluvial forest to encourage playing in nature! Countless attractions such as swings, slides, footbridges, tree houses, fountains etc. await the little visitors! This playground is unique in the entire Zillertal and definitely worth a visit!
