Kal

From the Green Gold Beer Fountain we cycle towards the village of Griže. The blue mountain bike trail markings direct us towards Mrzlica and Gozdnik. The route starts to ascend already on the asphalt road, but the true challenge starts on the gravel road leading past the former Gozdnik ski slope. After some persistent cycling, we reach the Špajzer homestead, where there’s a fork in the road. If we want we can take the dirt road among the meadows and return to the starting point. The other option is to keep ascending along the forest road to the Kal mountain cabin, situated next to a mountain meadow. We return via the same route to the Špajzer homestead, and then take the dirt road through the meadows to return to the valley.
