Rehefeld discovery tour

Follow the ridge path/E3 to the bridge, before the bridge follow the path to the left, cross the parking lot, cross the road and take the left path (Turmsteig) in the direction of the chairlift, continue to the mountain station. Take the "Alte Rodelbahn" path downhill again. The toboggan run ends at the edge of the forest. Turn left along the path to the road, past the bottom station of the chairlift. There is a playground on the right. At Hotel Waldeslust, just a few meters from the playground, you can stop for a bite to eat and then take the path back to the toboggan run. Here the path continues along the edge of the forest. On the right you can see the Hemmschuh mountain and on the left you can see the valley of the Wilde Weißeritz. You can see the hunting lodge from many points along the way. This is where the Saxon king lived when he went hunting. Our path now leads us past the small chapel, always along the edge of the forest. If we have enough energy, we will visit the oldest house in Rehefeld - the Zaunhaus. To do this, we take the path over the bridge at the refuge. A plaque on the house explains its history and we walk back to the refuge and continue left. The Holperbachweg leads us to the Turmsteigweg, here you turn left and arrive at the entry point.
