RR ERZ T08 From Holzhau through the Flöha valley

The tour begins at the Oberholzhau hikers' parking lot with views of the Mulde valley and Holzhau. We follow the I-6 along Ringelstraße with its long straight road to the next hikers' parking lot. Turn left downhill at Cämmerswalde and take the I-6/23 to Deutschgeorgenthal. We cross the border to Český Jiřetín and ride along the Flöha river to the 54 m high dam of the Fláje reservoir. Now turn left onto the R23a and look along the 459 m long dam crest at the reservoir and the river valley. You can find out more about the history of the dam on the information board. Stay on the R23a until the I-6/23 branches off to the left towards Holzhau, which we follow and after passing the border we arrive at the start/finish.
