In the middle of a forest, the "Holy Hole" can be entered through a small gate. Inside you find two stone tablets with the inscriptions "Maria helps" and "Maria has helped", as well as several crucifixes, a small altar, and a wooden bench.
The fascinating cave was probably already known to the Celts.
From the marketplace, the path leads uphill along the cemetery path to the mysterious "Holy Hole", a cave where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared. Even today, stone tablets and an altar bear witness to this deep faith.
Then continue along the forest to the Eberstein herb garden with the Celtic tree horoscope. From there, you walk along the edge of the forest back towards the town center, where the fluttering spectacle on the butterfly meadow behind the parsonage presents itself as a finale.
