Magical mountain lakes!
The Seebensee is one of the most beautiful lakes in Tyrol for good reason. The crystal-clear water reflects the grey-green rock faces of the Mieminger chain, whose peaks surround the lake. Despite this unique location, the lake is accessible to everyone.
Many roads lead to Rome - including the Seebensee. The Seebensee can be reached in the right way for every mountain lover - whether by bike or pushchair on the normal route, as a challenging hike via the Hoher Gang, the Biberwierer Scharte, the Immensteig or the Tajatörl and even via ferrata along the Seebenfall.
If you wish, you can also continue on foot from Seebensee to Drachensee, which is just as impressive. To do this, follow the hiking trail from Seebensee in the direction of Coburger Hütte/Drachensee. Drachensee is the highest lake in the region, which is why frosty water temperatures are to be expected. Nevertheless, there are always brave souls who dare to take a dip in the cool water.
A trip to these natural jewels is definitely a real highlight!
