Pilgrim route "Hirtenweg over the Egenhäuser Kapf" (WandernPLUS)

The beautiful nature reserve "Egenhäuser Kapf" is shaped by sheep farming. Special and protected plant and animal species feel at home here. The pilgrim route passes by meadows and heath areas. They form a special natural space that has gained its unique character as a cultural landscape because it is still maintained and grazed by shepherds and their herds today. As the route partly runs through the very sensitive nature reserve "Egenhäuser Kapf," we adhere to all the rules of the protected areas.

When carrying the flyer, nine stations invite you to explore questions of life with all your senses based on Psalm 23, the Psalm "of the good shepherd."
