Hüttschlag:

Hüttschlag (1.020 m), the former mining community, is situated 8 km from Großarl and has been part of the Hohe Tauer national park since 1991. The ski bus is the best way to get access to the Großarl ski circuit. With its wealth of offerings, Hüttschlag especially appeals to cross-country skiiers, winter hikers and ski mountaineers.

Winter:
The Hüttschlag venue is accessed via a well-cleared street (approx. 3.5 km). Winter equipment is needed.
The Großarl-Dorfgastein ski resort is situated 11 km away and is a member of the Amade ski association - 860 km of slopes and 270 lifts, all of which are usable with one card

Summer in Hüttschlag:

Hüttschlag can also be reached via a romantic hiking trail over the ‘Wallnersteg’ pedestrian bridge, past a crashing waterfall and the beautiful baroque church (approx. ½ hour walk).

The Hüttschlag and Großarl national park communities are known as the valley of pastures.

We run a BIO-FARM at a height of 1,222 m above sea level, directly above Hüttschlag town, in a tranquil spot at the edge of the forest. No through-road.
