Route description:
The start is the parking lot below the gravel pit in Vils. From there, follow the access road up to the Vilser Alm. During the ascent, you have the opportunity to enjoy the panorama and obtain various information about the quarry. Shortly before the destination, the Vilser Alm, a waterfall with a small reservoir awaits you. The hardiest can refresh themselves there. After about 3.5 km you reach the Vilser Alm. You then descend again via the forest road.

The Vilser Alm also serves as a starting point for further mountain routes, such as to the Große Schlicke or the Vilser Kegel.
