The circular walk Caviano – Cento Campi - Scaiano - Caviano is a hike of about 4.3 km, completing in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Starting from Caviano, the trail climbs through the hamlet, woods and meadows up to Cento Campi (Monti di Caviano), where the only thatched roof in all Ticino is found, offering a unique resting point and a breathtaking view. At Cento Campi, it is also possible to meet a local farmer who sells delicious cheese, adding a tasty touch to the hike.
After the break, the descent begins towards Scaiano, a small village with traditional houses and the Oratory of San Bernardo. From there, return to the hamlet of Caviano, where the old washhouse is located, a structure dating back to the late 1800s. This route is well marked and varied, ideal to enjoy natural beauty and the view over Lake Maggiore.
