From the center of Hüttschlag, take a leisurely walk through the village, past the elementary school, to the Wolfau district. From here, the Großarler Ache river accompanies you to the Karteiskapelle and further to the Maurachkapelle.
At the Aschaustüberl there is an opportunity to rest and enjoy a cozy break. Those who prefer to continue walking right away follow the valley hiking trail to the valley end of Hüttschlag, where you can stop at the Gasthof Talwirt. Along the way, you will pass numerous farms nestled deep in the snow, creating a very special atmosphere.

Trasa
Drive with your own car to Hüttschlag (parking available) or take the Postbus No. 540 to the bus stop Hüttschlag Ortsmitte. From there, trail No. 26 leads uphill past the elementary school to the Wolfau district. Here you first need to walk a short distance to the left before you can cross the bridge. Then you continue a short distance alongside the cross-country ski trail until you reach the Karteiskapelle. From there, the valley hiking trail takes you to the Maurachkapelle and the Aschaustüberl. Along the Großarler Ache river, the route continues to the valley end of Hüttschlag - return is the same way.
