Winter hike Saalfelden - Euring - Dorfheim - Bachwinkel and Wiesing
The starting point is located in Saalfelden-Euring just behind the Saalach wooden bridge near the football field. From the Euring bridge, you hike along the winter trail directly on the Saalach riverbank to the Rösselbrücke, near the Saliterhof. Follow the winter trail east through Uttenhofen to Dorfheim. Continue through Dorfheim to the Forstinger car accessories store where you cross the B311 towards Lofer or Zell am See. Follow the road towards Bachwinkl for 1 km, then turn left onto the bike and walking path (TIP: If you continue on the road towards Bachwinkl for another 350 m, you will reach the Gasthof Hubertus.) Follow the bike path towards Weißbach. Take the first turn right, then left towards Wiesing. Shortly before Gasthof Schörhof, use the underpass of the B311 towards Lenzing and follow the road until you reach the starting point again.

BY CAR
Drive on the Pinzgauer federal road B311 from Saalfelden towards Lofer. Turn left on the last street before Gasthof Schörhof (Marzon 10, 5760 Saalfelden) towards Euring/Lenzing. Follow the road for 700 m until you reach the wooden bridge over the Saalach. Directly before the bridge on the left side are parking spaces and the starting point.
BY TRAIN

BY BUS
The starting point at the Saalach wooden bridge can be reached by bus from the center of Saalfelden. The bus stop "Saalfelden Wiesing (B311)" is about a 10-minute walk from the starting point. Further information can be found at https://fahrplan.salzburg-verkehr.at/
Parking is available directly at the starting point at the wooden bridge over the Saalach in Euring.
