Schober and Frauenkopf

From the Fuschlseebad or the town center, head towards the lakeside promenade.

After Hotel Waldhof, head right towards Waldhof Alm, Forsthaus Wartenfels, and Wartenfels Ruin.

From the Wartenfels Ruin, the ascent to Schober begins. Continue on to Frauenkopf.

The loop closes at Forsthaus Wartenfels and returns directly back towards Fuschl and then to the Fuschlseebad parking lot.

Good hiking shoes and possibly trekking poles.

Challenging route. Plenty of drinking water is a must. Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are necessary. Short climbing section at the summit.
