Forest-Vine-Meadow Path Offenbach

The hike begins at the grill hut in Offenbach. From there, the path leads north through the idyllic Queich meadows, over a small wooden bridge onto the wide Amorgenweg. After just a few meters, you enter bright oak forests before you can take a short break at the “Rentnerhäusel,” a rustic shelter. 

From here, the path runs straight through the forest to L542. After crossing it, you continue hiking through the meadows to the commercial area of Landau-Mörlheim. Then it goes straight through the Queich meadows, where there can be wet feet on water days from May to August.  

After crossing a historic weir, the path leads along old trees and a small lake, which is often dry in summer, before you cross the bridge over L509 to Offenbach. Along the Mühlweg, you pass historic mills until crossing Essinger Straße and returning to the grill hut.

The hiking trail is currently not yet signposted. Signage with route logo is planned from 2025. Changes to the route are possible until then.

Be considerate on the way – Always behave considerately, friendly, and respectfully to everyone you meet on the trail.
Nature conservation – Stay on the designated paths and avoid unnecessary noise when you are in nature. Leave the forest at dusk at the latest to avoid disturbing the rhythm of nocturnal animals.
Picnic & waste – Take a waste bag with you and take your rubbish back home. Use only the furnished rest stops for breaks and picnics.
Leash dogs – Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
