Heinisuo is part of the national mire and forest protection programs. It is the home of the flying squirrel, contains various mire species, and the natural forest makes the area an important conservation site. There is also a rare natural brook flowing through the area in Häme.
The route is marked with red square signs. When you start on the path, follow the signs to Heinisuo.
The route initially follows a forest path to Heinisuo. On the mire, the path goes along boardwalks. After crossing the mire, the route continues on the forest path back to the parking lot.
