Großarltal

The Grossarltal is known for its multitude of mountain huts open to the public, which give the valley its nickname of "Valley of the mountain huts". You can experience "hospitality near the heaven" when you stop for refreshment in one of the 40 mountain huts on a hiking or bike tour in the Grossarltal. About 400 km hiking paths and 160 km signposted mountain bike routes await you. BERG-GESUND offers a great hiking program with decerleration days, yoga hikes, via ferrata tours and challenging mountain tours. And all the guests of the member accommodations of BERG-GESUND participate free of charge. In addition the Grossarltal offers different mountain bike tours and varied active program.

Beside hiking and biking there is a wide range of sports and leisure activities in Grossarltal: Swimming, mini golf, tennis, beachvolleyball, walking and spa.

The children find their paradise on Rucki Zucki's Gaudi-Alm. This is a huge playground directly in Grossarl - and the best: This is free of charge.
