Arrival by train:

Lake Neusiedl is easy & comfortable to reach by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, western or southern Austria: you can easily change trains at Vienna Main Station. The ÖBB regional trains take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections to Pamhagen / Fertőszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. On most trains, bicycle transport is possible: on Railjet and EC/IC as well as Nightjets, a reservation for your bike is absolutely necessary. On regional trains, your bike will be transported without reservation, depending on the availability of bicycle spaces.
