A family-friendly loop trail that starts at the Dorfhus. The route follows the Lech Promenade upstream, across the meadows to the southeast at the foot of the Rüfikopf. The scenery is captivating, and the view of Lech is particularly stunning. That’s probably why it’s one of the most popular trails for a short walk.

The starting point is the Dorfhus in Lech. Follow the Lech Promenade southward upstream until you see the Hotel Pfefferkorn on your left. Pass the hotel and, about 3 meters past it, take a sharp left turn slightly uphill onto a side street. The road leads southeast for a few meters through the Ebra district; soon after, a paved, signposted side path branches off to the left. The path leads to the edge of the forest. Here, turn left and head northeast on a forest path that climbs slightly. Even from here, a magnificent panorama of Lech am Arlberg unfolds. After about 70 meters, you’ll reach a barbecue area furnished with great attention to detail. Everything you need for a barbecue is provided. You’ll need to bring your own food for grilling, as well as paper plates and cutlery if needed. Continue along the path until you reach a small grove. Here, a very special rest area awaits—the Seelenbaumler. The slightly hilly, somewhat rocky path winds northeast until, after about 1.5 km, it reaches the edge of the forest and a farm road. There is also a rest area here. At the fork in the path, turn left and follow the farm road southwest past the barn, across the meadow, and slightly downhill toward the village. After 500 meters, you will reach the paved road in the Anger district. From here, follow the paved side road through the Anger district to the church square. Here you’ll find the stone plaza featuring sculptures made from six different types of stone. These witnesses to Earth’s history invite you to go on a geological “treasure hunt.”
