Schörfling am Attersee

Schörfling am Attersee is located at the northern end of Lake Attersee and offers a unique blend of relaxation, nature, and cultural experiences. Gustav Klimt already appreciated the beauty of the region and regularly spent his summers at Lake Attersee between 1900 and 1916. Even today, the Klimt Theme Trail, the Klimt Garden, and the Gustav Klimt Center serve as reminders of his close connection to the region.

In addition to its cultural heritage, Schörfling offers a wide range of activities—from water sports and scuba diving to horseback riding and cycling, as well as leisurely walks along the lakeside promenade. As a member municipality of the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park, the protection of the region’s unique natural and cultural landscape also plays an important role.
