Moon Trail

Did you know that wood felled during the waning moon, so-called „moon wood“, is said to have better quality?
On the „Moon Trail“ in the World Cup venue Zauchensee, you can learn mystical and scientific facts about the moon at several stations. For example, you can look at the sky through a telescope at the observatory, learn all about the moon's influence on wood at the wooden energy station, and collect herbs in the moon crater garden which should only be harvested during a specific moon phase for higher active ingredient content.
