For snowshoers who take on the Nockberge-Trail individually, there is the option at Katschberg to leave their car for the duration of their snowshoe crossing at Parking lot P1. The cost is €5 per day if the license plate is registered with the Katschberg Tourist Information, T +43 4734 630, E urlaub@katschberg.at, so that the car is recognized by the parking fee system. Otherwise, €30 per day will be charged by the parking operator.
Free parking for several days is available in the valley towns of Rennweg (at the heating plant, directly on the B99, Frankenberg junction) or St. Michael (Park & Ride parking lot, Gewerbestraße parking lot). From Rennweg, Gasthof Post, buses run several times daily to Katschberghöhe in winter.

Note: Since there is mostly no network reception in the Nockberge, it is recommended to save the respective stage offline in advance to be able to navigate smoothly!
