Floßgrabenwanderweg - from Rechenhaus to Bad Schlema

The more than 13-kilometre-long raft ditch, which originates at the Rechenhaus near Bockau and ends at the spa gardens in Bad Schlema, is a technical masterpiece from the sixteenth century. At the time, prominent men from the region, holders of important offices, pursued the implementation of the plan and drove the preparatory work forward with great energy, always aware of the great economic importance for the region.
