Route with agricultural plains views. Partly shaded, it will allow you to encounter some hares or small hares, listen to the calls of numerous little birds and maybe a bird of prey looking for food. All without ever moving far from the town. If you wish, you can stop to eat in the town of San Carlo Canavese or move towards the larger town of Ciriè.
From San Carlo, follow the path to the Sheep Road, so named in memory of the herds migrating from the alpine pastures. You skirt the military area and towards the end you can admire the meadow and heath landscapes for which the Reserve was established. The return winds through the fields and hamlets of San Carlo.

The Reserve can be visited freely except for the state-owned military area marked by no-entry signs.
The town of San Carlo Canavese can be reached by car.
The nearest train station is Ciriè - Station Square. From here it is possible to take bus 175 To at the Corio - Terminus stop.

Especially in spring and with crops in the fields, do not step on cultivated fields. It is also reminded that in the Reserve it is forbidden to hunt, access with motor vehicles, park on the meadows, light open fires, scare animals, or collect or damage plants and mushrooms.
Comfortable shoes are recommended, and always carry a bottle of water with you. In the Vauda reserve, it is allowed to enter also with bikes or on horseback without leaving the trails.
