The route in its first part follows the bank of the Po River, a dirt path that can be muddy after rains. It passes through Chivasso and ends at Mazzè Castle. The surface is made up of 52% asphalt and the remaining dirt. There are no major climbs except for the final ascent to the Castle, which is short anyway.
It is recommended to approach the stages with bicycle in good condition and proper equipment (helmet, repair kit, water and food). Clothing should be chosen according to the season and weather conditions, always providing a rain and windproof layer.
In case of bad weather, some sections (especially dirt roads) may be more challenging or slippery: it is therefore important to assess conditions before departure and, if necessary, adapt the route. The route is partly on roads open to traffic: caution and respect for traffic laws are recommended.
