Departing from Châtelus-le-Marcheix, you will cross the Thaurion to reach the commune of Bourganeuf and encounter the medieval city whose emblem is the Zizim Tower.
Next, you will see the built heritage of Faux-Mazuras as well as Saint-Pardoux-Morterolles located in the Millevaches Regional Natural Park in Limousin.
You will reach Saint-Martin-Château which houses the 3rd listed site of the department: the Cascade des Jarrauds.
At the end of your ride in Royère-de-Vassivière, continue on for about 6 km to the Vassivière Lake, covering an area of 1000 hectares with wild beauty and developed for water leisure activities.
