Eversberg Chapel Route
Within the boundaries of the old mountain town of Eversberg are beautiful chapels, wayside shrines, and wayside crosses. They bear witness to former popular piety and the trust in God of those times.

Many of these distinctive small buildings originated from vows made in gratitude, as the local population experienced God's support and help in times of illness, epidemics, and hardship.
In today’s hectic and transient times, these chapels and crosses invite you to pause, reflect, meditate, and pray.
Those who complete the Eversberg Chapel Route can collect a confirmation stamp at each station, which can be exchanged for a small memento at the church at the end. The route can also be walked in stages.
Along the way, the old mountain town can be discovered in all its facets, revealing its small treasures, such as the historic town center, the local history museum, the Stations of the Cross around the Burghagen, or the castle ruins on the Schlossberg.
The start and finish of the approximately 6.5 km main route is the Parish Church of St. Johannes Ev. in Meschede-Eversberg.
