We start our route at the Laaben municipal office heading west, cross the Laabenbach and then turn right onto the second street. For about 300 m we use the Laabental cycle path. Then we go left up a forest...
<p>We start our route at the Laaben municipal office heading west, cross the Laabenbach and then turn right onto the second street. For about 300 m we use the Laabental cycle path. Then we go left up a forest and meadow path to the Pirat hamlet. In the middle of the forest we reach the long-distance hiking trail 04 and follow it until shortly after a farm. On an asphalted farm track, we come down again to the state road, where we turn right towards Brand. In Brand, we turn opposite the church into Kirchenweg and follow it. Past the tennis court and the St. Florian chapel (nice resting place) a lovely, shady path next to the brook leads us back into the village.</p>

<p>In the town center, the main street must be crossed; in Brand and with the alternative route via Laaben, higher-ranking roads are also crossed.</p>
