At the entrance to the cave, four display boards provide visitors with basic information about the world of the stalactite cave. As you make your way through the cave, you will discover all its beauty and uniqueness:
the fascinating hundreds of thousands of years of formation of the cave and the stalactites, which are unique and irretrievablethe special nature of the meteorology and the cave habitat with its animals and plants - a vulnerable ecosystem that must be protectedthe life of the cave guests that are so important to nature, the bats, whose survival depends on us humans protecting themthe history of the discovery and exploration of Hermann's Cave, whose sensitive world we should treat with care and great respect despite our enthusiasm and thirst for adventure
Vom Parkplatz ausgehend werden Sie auf dem ansteigenden Zugangsweg auf die Höhlenwelt eingstimmt und erfahren über die Höhle grundlegende Dinge, die Sie dann die Besonderheiten mit anderen Augen sehen lassen.
Der ca. 350 m lange Weg durch die Höhle verläuft bequem und auf gut ausgebauten Stiegen und Pfaden mit elektrischer Beleuchtung über 43 Höhenmeter vom "Windloch" hinauf zum "Taubenloch".
Festes Schuhwerk, warme Kleidung (in der Hermannshöhle hat es nur 8°)
Der Weg zur Hermannshöhle und in der Höhle ist nicht barrierefrei.

Öffnungszeiten der Hermannshöhle:
Ab 1. Mai bis 30. September und in der Karwoche täglich. Im April und Oktober: Samstag, Sonn- und Feiertag sowie nach Vereinbarung
Hauptführungszeiten: 9.30 h, 11.00 h, 13:30 h, 15.00 h und 16.30 h (Mindestgebühr € 15,--) Weitere Fürungen nach Bedarf
