Stations Offer Different Sensory Experiences

Along the loop trail, which starts outside Schrattenberg and heads toward the Czech border, there are eleven stations designed to offer a variety of sensory experiences. The mascot “Berti Barfuss” will accompany you. Most of the route is suitable for walking barefoot. On the access trails, it is recommended to wear trekking sandals

Don't forget your passport

Coming from Vienna, take the A5 toward Poysdorf. Take the “Poysdorf Nord” exit. After about 5 km, you’ll reach Schrattenberg. The starting point of our barefoot trail is located on Kleine Zeile.

Follow a marked access trail near Schrattenberg to reach the approximately 5-kilometer-long barefoot trail, which is located in the picturesque countryside on the so-called “Raisten.”
