Litschau - Haugschlag - Reingers - Eggern - Heidenreichstein - Eisgarn - Litschau.
This themed trail connects the towns in the Northern Waldviertel region and is dedicated to Kaspar Schrammel, who was born in Litschau. The route follows busy roads and, in some sections, sand and farm roads through the towns. Various attractions invite visitors to linger.
Coming from St. Pölten, take the S33 to Krems, continue on the B37 to Rastenfeld, then take the B38 to Zierings, pass through Doellersheim and Allentsteig onto the B5, follow the B5 to Eisgarn, and turn left there toward Litschau.
Coming from Vienna, take the A22 to the Stockerau Nord exit, continue on the B4 toward Horn; in Horn, take the B5; follow the B5 to Eisgarn, then turn left toward Litschau.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the A7 exit, then the A7 to Unterweitersdorf—take the S10 to the Sandl exit—continue on the B38 to Karlstift—at Karlstift, take the B41 to Schrems—then take the B2 via Brand, Finsternau, Gopprechts, and Schönau to Litschau.
