Maria Seesal Round - short variant from Waidhofen

For the shorter route, start your journey in Waidhofen and follow the scenic Ybbstal bike path upstream to Opponitz. The short Seesal variant is a special case: it first leads in the opposite direction and only merges with the longer variant in Opponitz.

Upon arrival in Opponitz, turn right at the Bruckwirt. From there, go through the charming town and then uphill towards Kleine Kripp. After a sharp left turn, continue your ride towards Ybbsitz. Over the idyllic Prolling, cycle 4.5 kilometers further to the important right turn to Gut Theuretzbach – this should not be missed. Afterwards, the route leads over the heights to the spiritual destination Maria Seesal. From there, continue via Ybbsitz back to Waidhofen.
