The Kirimaja is the crossroads of the three directions of the Portimo trails.Starting from this point, you can choose from a number of different ring trails.The southbound trail to Pyölinmäki leads up a steep slope and requires good fitness.The Pyölinmäki ring trail is a 1,5 km long rocky forest path, from where the trail branches off towards Hirsikangas and Kuntohuhta hut.Kuntohuhta's hut can be reached by the shortest route after about one kilometre.There is an eco-toilet in connection with the hut.There is also a new shelter at the starting point at the Kirimaja Ski museum.
At the beginning of the route, a steep climb requiring physical fitness.

Overnight stays are allowed in all the Portimo trail huts and it is permitted to pitch a tent near the huts.
