Cammino delle Terre della Dieta Mediterranea - COASTS OF TREZENI - Stage VI

Departure from Santa Maria di Castellabate, near the "Belvedere dei Trezeni" in the Alano area, where the dirt path crossing the ridge of Monte Tresino (356 m a.s.l.) begins, reaching the splendid Baia Trentova in Agropoli. From here, continue along Via Fontana dei Monaci to reach the port, from where you ascend by crossing the entire historic center, climbing the stepped staircase and passing through the historic entrance gate, up to the Angevin Aragonese Castle. From the Castle, continue descending on the opposite side, follow the San Marco seafront for about 2 km, until reaching near the "Lido Aurora", then turn into the side street on the right, where the sixth stage ends.

Technical trekking shoes, comfortable layered clothing, windbreaker jacket, a raincoat, hat and sunglasses or other UV protection, at least 1.5/2 liters of water, and other personal necessities

From the Salerno - Reggio Calabria Highway, exit at Battipaglia to join SS18; continue along the expressway called "Cilentana" to Agropoli, exit at Agropoli Sud and continue on SS 267 (Via del Mare) for about 10 km, until Santa Maria di Castellabate.

Passage not recommended in the hottest months (July, August), as the route is mostly exposed to the sun
