Markusstollen

The starting point of this snowshoe tour is the tourist information office in Bad Bleiberg. From there walk past the Kurzentrum into the direction of Waldschenke. Walk up to the Markstollen (former mining tunnel). At the forest there is a short steep climb, which will be rewarded with a wonderful spot. Here you can see Dobratsch and take a picture in a large picture frame. Continue on the way past the Francisci tunnel to Hüttendorf and then walk back past the municipal office to the starting point.

Snowshoe equipment (snow boots, ski sticks, avalanche probe and shovel), clothes, warm drink, first aid and mobile phone.

Take the exit "Hermagor" on the A2 oder the exit Villach West on the A10 motorway. Then follow the road to Bad Bleiberg.

There are enough parking spaces available at the tourist information office.
