This stage proves that there are mountains around Lake Wörthersee as well. Even before reaching the Pyramidenkogel, you have to conquer the Rupertiberg, where there is a magnificent view of the Rosental and the Karawanks. The climb to Pyramidenkogel is not very long (4.5 km), but there is no time to recover. The ascent up the mountain is uneven, and at the end, there is a short but even more demanding climb. You should take time for a short visit to the 54 m high tower. You have a magnificent view over Lake Wörthersee, to the south towards the Karawanks and Julian Alps, and up to the Nock Mountains in the north. To finish, there is a refreshment at one of the numerous rustic taverns.
