Lake Ossiach - Family route in the Nockberge region

Starting in the center of Feldkirchen at the tourist office, the bike route (R2) leads through the towns of Rabensdorf, Liebetig, and Leinig into the Bleistätter Moor. Afterwards, you cycle along the northern side of the lake through Steindorf, Bodensdorf, Sattendorf, and Annenheim. On the eastern shore of Lake Ossiach, the bike path leads along the southern side of the lake (R2A) with the main town Ossiach back to Feldkirchen. The bike path mostly runs directly along the lake on dedicated bike paths or on little-trafficked local roads. Along the way there are many places to stop for refreshments, and the mountain/lake experience could be perfectly combined with the enjoyment of cycling and a lift ride up to the Gerlitzen.
