Family bike ride along the bike path R9B Gmünd - Maltatal

We start at the parking lot below the Old Castle Gmünd - here we can park the car for free. From the parking lot, head directly towards the Porsche Auto Museum. We pass it (a short piece 50m against the one-way street) and reach the Malta River, which we follow on the R9B to Malta. We pass the Donkey Park Maltatal and follow the route up to the height of "Fallbach". Now we need to switch briefly to the state road - we keep left towards the "Family Inn Zirmhof", pass it and cycle to the entrance "". Here we get back on the bike path R9B and stay on the cycling and leisure path until the toll booth.
We take the same route back.

Use only technically flawless bikes: We regularly check and maintain our bikes.

Ride at an appropriate speed: We ride at a controlled speed and are always ready to brake. On all paths, oncoming traffic is to be expected and obstacles (fallen trees, stones, etc.) may block the way at any time. For your own safety, always wear a helmet.
Emergency preparedness: We always carry a repair kit and first aid supplies. Also, a mobile phone or radio device is useful.
Proper self-assessment and risk evaluation: We do not overstrain ourselves either technically or physically.
