Lake Faak Trail Three

Starting from the Latschach Cemetery parking lot, turn right along the state road until you reach the "Martinihof" junction. Follow the road to this point and turn left towards "Ischnig." Pass the tavern, cross a stream bed, then shortly afterward turn right and follow the forest road to the start of the Kopein Trail. At the end of the trail, turn left onto the forest road and after some time turn right again towards Ischnighof. From here, return to Untergreuth, where you take the short shortcut down the Shorty Trail to Latschach. From here, follow the road towards Finkenstein Castle ruins until the "Samonigg" junction. Turn left and climb up to the farm. Immediately after the stable, turn left and descend the Samonigg Trail. At the end of the trail, return to the village of Latschach and turn right back to the starting point of the route.

Lake Faak is easily accessible via the A10 and the A2.
