For centuries, greenery and thermal water have been enticing people to visit the Dolenjske Toplice Spa, one of the oldest natural health resorts in Europe. The trail then leads to Dolenje polje, where you cross the Krka River and continue along the other bank of the river; at times the path leads away from the river, but you are reunited with it when arriving in Novo mesto.
