Gustiberg farmhouse inn tour (Urbès) - To Sepp's paradise

Follow the signs "triangle jaune", "rond rouge", "triangle bleu".

From the Gustiberg farmhouse parking lot (Urbès), follow the yellow triangle path to the parking lot, then the red circle path to the Club Vosgien shelter "Le Paradis de Sepp", then follow the "blue triangle" path up to the Gustiberg thatch, with great views along the way! Return along the yellow triangle path to the farmhouse inn.

Before setting off:

Find out about general and local weather conditions, making sure there's no precipitation.

Find out about the approach to the route, its height, how long it will take, and any possible escapes (IGN map, GPS, topo-guide, etc.).

Evaluate possible risks by asking mountain professionals, mountain huts and gîtes for information.

Inform someone close to you of your objective, and contact them again if there are any changes: departure and return times, number of participants with telephone numbers for each, vehicle(s), parking, etc.

Avoid setting off alone, and use equipment that is suitable for the activity, adjusted and in good condition: headlamp, complete first-aid kit, survival blanket, etc.

In the event of a problem, call 112 (European emergency number).

Access by road: drive up the Thur valley to the Col de Bussang (RN 66). At the Col on the right, the forest road crosses the Peduzzi quarry and continues for 2.5 km to the farm.

Access on foot: Fellering or Urbès (2h), Col d'Oderen (2h30).

Hiking: Drumont (1h), Lochberg (30 min), Felzach (2h30), Rouge-Gazon (1/2 day).
