Starting from the Munster sports complex, overlook the town then the lower part of the village of Stosswihr before reaching the Sattel pass, halfway up. The second part of the climb remains in the forest but with beautiful views of the Vosges ridges, notably the Schlucht and the Frankenthal cirque. The Gaschney station is the highest point of the circuit. You can possibly continue to the Schiessroth inn to discover an exceptional viewpoint or reach the lake of the same name. The return is made by first passing through the hamlet of Mohrenloch, a small climb from the access road to the station before continuing the descent to the Sattel. Last difficulty of the route before the pass, then final descent to Munster through the Moenchberg district.
