Stuppach Castle in southern Lower Austria is world-famous.
Stuppach Castle has a history dating back around a thousand years. Countless prominent and famous personalities have stayed here. One of the owners of the castle was Count von Walsegg. He commissioned Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to compose a requiem for his beloved deceased wife. The result is world-famous today: Mozart's Requiem.
"Mozart's last castle" is therefore the birthplace of this magnificent musical work and is still an authentic and historic Mozart location today. This is thanks to the current owners of the castle, who have lovingly renovated the property over many years after it was badly damaged in the Second World War and then lay dormant for around 40 years.

Mozart Experience Park - The private castle becomes a stage with the exclusive scenographic tour. The two-hour tour leads through 23 rooms on 3 levels.
