The hike takes about four hours and leads you on a circular path through alpine Malbun. At interesting stations, you learn how moraines, caves, and rock formations were created—and how the region has changed since the Ice Age. The traces of earth’s history lie right at your feet here.

To undertake a route, careful planning is required. We recommend that you first consult the local information offices regarding the routes and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather, this route may be closed or interrupted.
Exit A13 Vaduz, then head towards Triesenberg until you reach Malbun.
Bus line 21 (Triesenberg - Malbun "Jöraboda") runs from Vaduz Post to Malbun center.
Free parking spaces are available at the entrance to Malbun.
The circular route passes all information points, which are best visited in the given order. For geology enthusiasts and teachers: the stations can also be visited individually. It is also recommended to book a guided route with the author Daniel Miescher (info at www.geologie.li).
