Balade en Bocage

Meet at the church square for the start of this tour. Turn right and after 100m take the small descent where an elegant Renaissance manor house stands.
Take the path on your left, continue, then turn left and immediately right, go up towards La Roue. By taking the dirt track on your right you will see a panorama of the Brionnais bocage dotted with white cattle, as well as a glimpse of the typical scattered settlement of the region.
Continue on La Roue (where you can see old vineyards), continue and at the intersection turn left towards Orval. At Orval, turn left towards Bondinet-la-Varenne, follow the tarmac road for 200m, then turn right onto the dirt track. You will go through undergrowth, along a small pond and through the hamlets of La Varenne and Le Breuil. After 1 km of tarmac road at Le Bondinet, turn left onto the path towards Le Rocher. At the end of the undergrowth take the path opposite towards Préviny-les-Bassets.
At the next crossroads follow the Bassets. Continue on this path and then turn left onto the Croix Bonnet, down to Amanzé. Arrive at Les Places and turn right and continue on the tarmac road. Continue for 200 m then turn right. Turn left towards Saint-Symphorien-des-Bois, go 100 m and turn left, continue to the Font de Chévry fountain and join the church square.
