At the foot of the imposing Güssing Castle, the tour starts first on the B61 Wildpark cycle path and leads straight through dense forest to Punitz. From there, we change to the B57 Weinidylle cycle path towards Kohfidisch. Truly idyllic, the route continues along Großenpetersdorfer Straße, passing forests, corn, and flower fields. Here the B57 path becomes a bit bumpy for a few kilometers, therefore only conditionally suitable for racing bikes. In Kohfidisch, the ascent begins to the picturesque Csaterberg with its typical and well-known cellar cottages – a really beautiful place. Via Kleincsater and Hochcsater it continues to Eisenberg, known for its excellent wines. After these two “small mountain climbs,” the path runs flat along the Pinka on the Paradise route via Höll to Bildein. Through the Weinidylle, the route leads past charming cellar cottages through Kulm and Gaas to the open-air museum in Moschendorf. Parallel to the federal road, we ride to Strem and then switch back to the B61 Wildpark path, which leads through picturesque Heiligenbrunn – somewhat steep and unpaved at times – via Glasing back to Güssing.
Güssing
The Bar
Cool - American bar awarded by Falstaff - in the "outskirts" of Güssing. Karin Weber has fulfilled her dream and serves excellent cocktails as well as burgers. Large beer selection, a few good wines - an ideal place to chill.

Csaterberg
Gasthof zum Weinberg
Family-run business in wonderful surroundings, with regional cuisine. Modern guest rooms invite you to stay overnight. In the adjoining wine shop you can taste and purchase the wines.

Buschenschank Stubits
The Stubits family is certainly one of the most remarkable and dynamic "newcomers" in the region. On just five hectares, they produce authentic wines that can be tasted both at the winery and the Buschenschank in Harmisch. The wine bar at Csaterberg is probably the best place to enjoy this.

Eisenberg a. d. Pinka
Vinothek Eisenberg
In Eisenberg an der Pinka, at Naturpark 1, wine lovers can indulge fully. Over 120 wines from the region, opening hours apply.

Deutsch Schützen
Weingut Krutzler
Perwolff is a well-known name among red wine lovers in Austria - and beyond - for many years. This cult wine is legendary. But besides the well-known flagship, the Krutzler winery, now in its fifth generation, has much more to offer. They bottled their first quality wines in 1966 and have since committed themselves to only the best. The family business cultivates almost exclusively excellent red wines on about 13 hectares of vineyards around Deutsch Schützen and Eisenberg. For this, the winery has received 5 Falstaff stars.

Weingut Kopfensteiner
The Kopfensteiner family winery is located near the Hungarian border and is run by Astrid and Thomas Kopfensteiner in the third generation - currently cultivating about 16 hectares of vineyards in Deutsch Schützen and Eisenberg. The range extends from Welschriesling through Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - but the main focus is, as expected here, on Blaufränkisch. The Buschenschank on Untere Hauptstraße is definitely worth a visit.

Weingut Wachter Wiesler
The Wachter-Wiesler family winery is a prime example of a successful generational change. When Christoph Wachter took over the family business at Eisenberg, he had a clear vision: to use the potential of the old vines to produce wines with even more expression and terroir character. He has succeeded. It’s no coincidence that in such a short time no one else has reached the top among Austrian red wine producers.

Ratschen Restaurant and Wohnothek
This wonderful place of enjoyment lies a few minutes beside the cycle path, but the small detour is definitely worth it. This very relaxed place includes stylish wooden bungalows for overnight stays, a gourmet restaurant, an outdoor pool with spa, and an uncomplicated day bistro with very good food and the best wines of the area. So definitely turn off.

Kulm
Weinek
At the Postrumer Weinberg, directly on the cycle path, the actor and dramaturg Martin and Eva Weinek have created a very special place. Here, (excellent) warm meals are cooked, snacks are served, drinks enjoyed, celebrations held, or simply time spent in the beautiful garden or cozy lounge. Be sure to visit.

Strem
Gasthof-Legath
Simple and honest South Burgenland inn, with down-to-earth cuisine, lunch menu, terrace and guest rooms. A summer like back then.

Moschendorf
Weinmuseum Moschendorf
At the entrance to the idyllic Pinkatal wine road lies the open-air museum Moschendorf, where authentic buildings from past centuries in the region have been faithfully reconstructed. Inside, authentic furniture, agricultural tools, and implements can be seen. Here is also the regional wine shop of the Burgenland Wine Idyll, offering the yearly 60 wines from the region. And a few steps further, the Uhudler wine shop, where visitors can learn all about this controversial South Burgenland specialty.

Heiligenbrunn
Hotel Restaurant Krutzler
Gourmet cuisine, fresh, regional, and without affectation, but with a big portion of hospitality await hungry and thirsty guests in this family business in idyllic Heiligenbrunn. As expected from this family name, the wine cellar is also very well stocked – not only with the locally famous Uhudler. Cozy rooms, a beautiful wellness area, and the in-house shop round out the experience into real enjoyment.
