On the trail of culture! This is the perfect route for pleasure cyclists: the ideal combination of sport, culture, and culinary enjoyment. Here you will find the Village Museum Mönchhof with around 35 reconstructed buildings, where you can "experience" life of the past or reminisce. In Halbturn, the baroque jewel Schloss Halbturn impresses with annually changing exhibitions. Finally, you can visit the basilica in Frauenkirchen and end the day with a snack and a glass of wine. Exhibitions, galleries, and wine bars round off the offer on this route. Pedal and let your soul unwind!

Since many cycle paths are agricultural access roads, agricultural traffic must be expected there. Mutual consideration ensures that these paths remain pleasant and usable for everyone.
AUSTRIA
There is a mandatory bicycle helmet rule for children up to 12 years old. Reflective vests are not mandatory at dusk, darkness, or poor visibility, but certainly advantageous. Here is the Austrian bicycle regulation.

Arrival by train:
The Neusiedler See is easily and comfortably accessible by train. Whether you come from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: you can change trains relaxed at Vienna main station. The ÖBB regional trains take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Gols, Mönchhof, and Frauenkirchen are also offered. In most trains, bicycle transport is possible: on the Railjet and EC/IC trains as well as in the Nightjets, a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. Regional trains carry your bicycle without reservation, subject to availability of the bicycle spaces.
