Bike route - Saulgrub circular route

You start at the community hall of Saulgrub and cycle on the federal road B 23 heading north to the large traffic light.

From here, follow the bike path next to the state road to Bad Kohlgrub. Shortly after the beginning of the village of Bad Kohlgrub, turn right towards "Hörnlebahn" and cycle uphill to the Protestant church. At the church, turn right into Baumgartnerstraße and through the district of Kraggenau towards Saulgrub.

Shortly before Saulgrub, about 100 m before a nursery, turn left onto a gravel road. After about 600 m you will reach an asphalt road again. Here, turn sharply left, not onto B23. The road leads you past the Aura Hotel to Wurmansau. In Wurmansau, in front of the small chapel, keep right.

Pass under the federal road B 23 to the connecting road, there keep right to Altenau. On the village street you go through the town to the Löschweiher pond. Now turn right again and cycle slightly uphill on the local connection back to Saulgrub.

This bike route, just over 9 km long, is ideal for families with younger children. Upon returning to the finish at the community hall, the little ones can let off steam at the village playground.
